AFTER MISCARRIAGE

If you have had a miscarriage, you know how hard it can be to find answers on what causes miscarriages and how to stop it from happening again. So much of the information out there is controversial and it’s hard to make sense of what is true and what isn’t.

In creating After Miscarriage, which was published in March by Harvard Common Press, I tried to create the resource that I wished I had several years ago when I was dealing with recurrent miscarriages and everyone kept telling me “it’s just bad luck, and you should try again.” Reading the book isn’t going to stop you from having miscarriages, but it might help you understand the medical lingo out there and the different possible miscarriage causes, as well as help you find the strength to move forward.

On this website, I’m planning to include a number of personal success stories from other women who have been through miscarriage experiences and had a happy ending. I always found those stories inspiring.

I hope you like After Miscarriage. Please contact me  with any comments or questions, but just remember I can’t give medical advice.
